MARC PILCHER

Marc started his career in 1988, leaving college and landing a job in West End Theatre, the best place in the world to learn period hairdressing. This happy, creative atmosphere kept him working in Theatre-Land and on tour for 15 years, until Marc started to get offers to work as a Hair and Makeup artist in TV, this then turned in to positions on feature films, where he works today. Marc’s work has taken him all over the world and he feels privileged to work on such a wide variety of projects and with inspirational teams of people.

Marc has been awarded 2 Guild Awards for his work on the film Mary Queen of Scots and the television series Downton Abbey, Marc also received an Oscar Nomination for his work on the film Mary Queen of Scots.
